"Meeting Export Challenges Now and In the Future"

Michael Snow has served as Executive Director of the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) since 1999. In this role, he oversees the Council’s global promotional programs and manages AHEC’s international offices and staff in Europe, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, and China.

Before becoming Executive Director, Snow served as an AHEC Program Manager, working with the European, Chinese, and Japanese markets. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Economics from the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining AHEC, Snow worked as a consultant on international education and travel programs for the National Geographic Society and Smithsonian Associates. He also spent several years in Seville, Spain, teaching economics courses in both English and Spanish for the University of Wisconsin System.
