Claire joined Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods in May 2012 as the CFO and has been with the company for over 13 years.
Her Previous Role:
Prior to her role at Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods, Claire worked as a Planner at Pond & Company in the greater Atlanta area from January 2011 to May 2012.
Claire is part of the Thompson family, who founded and own. Her parents are Nordeck and Mary Claire Thompson, the founders of the company. Claire's sister, Mary Lee McConnell, serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, and her brother, Nick Thompson, is the President and COO. Her husband, Drew Getty, holds the position of Vice President of Procurement.

Claire is passionate about sustainable design and integrates eco-friendly practices into her work at Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods.
She has advocated for the forest industry at the Tennessee State Capitol, engaging with legislators and connecting with industry leaders to support the future of wood products.
