"Same Dirt, New Deeds: Tennessee Timberland Ownership’s Evolution"

Chris Miller serves as Managing Director of Real Estate Services for American Forest Management (AFM), where he leads the firm’s national land brokerage operations and oversees more than 50 land real estate professionals serving clients across 22 states. With more than 25 years of experience in timberland and rural real estate, he specializes in the acquisition and disposition of timberland, agricultural, recreational, conservation, and large-scale investment properties throughout the United States.

Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from North Carolina State University. He holds the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation through the REALTORS® Land Institute, recognizing advanced education, experience, and expertise in land brokerage. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Registered Forester in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

Throughout his career, Miller has advised institutional investors, family offices, corporations, conservation organizations, and private landowners on complex land transactions and long-term land investment strategies.
